Sky Box: Solar panel and Battery pack
Case Description
Concept study to develop and produce a Sky box for electrical cars that can both recharge your batteries by using solar energy as well be used as a spare battery pack.
Case Results
Two freshly graduated students, both with an engineering background, had a great idea. What if you could recharge your electrical car wherever you are by using solar energy and have an extra battery pack with you? This would not only increase your action radius but also allow you to recharge while driving. The system is universal and can be mounted on many different types of electrical cars. Imagine yourself going for a road trip for a couple of days in Europe. You would be able to go wherever you want, without worrying where to find a place to recharge your car.
The duo reached out to HTS&R in order to find an expert that could create a concept study for them by using a Tesla as an example. HTS&R outsourced the work to an expert in India, whom finished the project within just a couple of days! The concept study is currently being used to attract investors. HTS&R is proud to have been a part of this project!
